The decisive difference

A legal entity is the framework. Leadership turns it into a functioning operation.

Legal, tax, payroll and registration work are essential. The operational risk begins where these individual workstreams end.

Conventional setup

Formal workstreams

  • Entity formation and registration
  • Tax and accounting
  • Payroll and contracts
  • Separate professional advisers
KPA adds end-to-end ownership

Target model through to handover

  • Location and role decisions
  • Coordination of qualified professional partners
  • Recruitment of the first key hires
  • Operational ramp-up, leadership and handover
One accountable setup process

From an initial hypothesis to a manageable operating unit in Poland.

KPA connects the workstreams that conventional models often leave between management, advisers, recruiters and local service providers.

A clear fit

Not every Poland project needs an Interim Country Lead.

KPA is a good fit when...

  • you intend to create a genuine team and local operational responsibility in Poland
  • several professional partners and internal stakeholders need to be coordinated
  • the first key hires will determine whether the project succeeds or is delayed
  • your management needs an accountable local lead

A specialist provider is a better fit when...

  • you only require a registration
  • no local team or operational ramp-up is planned
  • you only need to resolve an isolated tax, legal or payroll matter
  • all setup responsibilities have already been assigned clearly within your organisation
Frequently asked questions

What decision-makers want to know before they start.

What does an Interim Country Lead take responsibility for?

The Interim Country Lead manages the target model, location, professional partners, entity formation, key roles, recruitment, processes, reporting and operational ramp-up through to handover to your own management.

Does “interim CEO” mean a formal managing director appointment?

No. The phrase is a straightforward analogy for operational responsibility during the setup. A managing director, representative or corporate officer role exists only where there is a separate legal appointment and an explicit agreement.

What is included in the Poland Launch Check?

Within ten working days, you receive a specific target model, an assessment of no more than two locations and up to 20 FTE, market and talent feasibility, the key risks and a documented GO/NO-GO recommendation.

How is the Launch Check fee credited?

The Poland Launch Check costs EUR 4,900 net. If you subsequently commission the “Entity formation and detailed market analysis” package, the full EUR 4,900 is credited against its total net fee of EUR 11,900. The remaining net fee is EUR 7,000.

What does the EUR 11,900 net entity formation package include?

The package combines a detailed market and location analysis with preparation and management of the formal entity formation process in Poland. KPA coordinates the required qualified professional partners and documents the status for the next setup decision.

Who provides the legal, tax, registration and notarial services?

These specialist services are provided by appropriately qualified partners. KPA is responsible for analysis, setup planning and project management. Before commissioning, the written scope clearly distinguishes included partner services from any variable third-party costs.

What happens during the 90-day setup sprint?

The entity and professional partners are coordinated, the location is prepared, key roles are defined, recruitment begins, and processes, reporting and interfaces with Germany are established.

When does the Interim Country Lead engagement end?

When the agreed target state has been reached and your own Country Manager or managing director can take over the documented responsibilities. The duration and handover criteria are defined in writing before the engagement begins.

What types of setup project are a good fit for KPA?

German companies planning to build an IT, SAP, finance or shared services team in Poland without an experienced local lead already in place.

Is the introductory call free of charge?

Yes. The 30-minute introductory call is free of charge and serves only as an initial assessment. It is not the paid Poland Launch Check and does not create any commitment.
